The Balkan Tour

Day 1 Skopje

Breakfast. Arrival at airport.Rest.Dinner in the old town. Overnight.

Day 2 Skopje

Skopje Sightseeing. Visit to the Museum of Contemporary Art, Fortress Kale, the Mustapha Pasha Mosque, the Church of the Holy Savior, and the small museum of Goce Delchev. Visit to the Museum of Macedonia Stroll through the Old Bazaar, where you can see Chifte Hammam and Daut Pasha Hammam. Cross the Stone Bridge, one of the oldest landmarks in Skopje. Stopover at the Holocaust Memorial Center that commemorates the suffering of the Jews of Macedonia and touring the statues and monuments in Macedonia Square. Walk along Macedonia Street towards the Museum of the City of Skopje, situated in the building of the old railway station. Visit of the Memorial House of Mother Teresa. Overnight.

Day 3 Skopje – Ohrid

Breakfast. Proceed to the city of Ohrid. Arrival, check in hotel. Lunch. Half day city tour: visit Hadzi Turgut Mosque, Old Bazaar, Zeynel Abidin Pasha Tekke, Krst Dazmija. Lake exploration. Dinner at hotel. Overnight.

Day 4 Ohrid – Struga – Tirana

Breakfast. Proceed to visit Struga, a beautiful costal city on the Ohrid lake. Proceed to Tirana. Arrival and dinner. Overnight.

Day 5 Tirana – Drac – Ulcinj

Breakfast. Half day city tour: Mosque of Ethem Bay, Clock Tower, national Museum. Lunch. Proceed to Drac, a port city in the Adriatic Sea. Historical sightseeing of the Roman Amphitheater, built in the 2nd century AD, during the reign of the Emperor Trajan.  Arrival to the city of Ulcinj, check in hotel. Dinner at hotel.  Overnight.

Day 6 Ulcinj – Bar – The Cruise on Skadar lake

Breakfast. Proceed to the dreamy city of Bar. Enjoying the old city sightseeing. Lunch with a sea view. Proceed to the relaxed and unforgettable cruise of the Skadar Lake. Return to Bar. Overnight.

Day 7 Bar – Budva – Tivat – Herceg Novi

Breakfast. Road trip along the coastline.Enjoying the magnificent Montenegro coast. Visit to the breathtaking city of Budva and its walls built by the Venetians. Visit to Tivat and the nearby Porto Montenegro, the Mediterranean’s leading luxury yacht homeport and marina village. Lunch. Proceed to Herceg Novi at the entrance to the Bay Kotor. Leisure time. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 8 Herceg Novi – Mostar

Breakfast. Proceed to the border of Bosnia and Hercegovina. On the way to Mostar, passing through small historical towns of Trebinje and Stolac. Lunch. Arrival to Mostar.  Overnight.

Day 9 Mostar

Breakfast. Proceed for city tour – visit Karadjozbey mosque, Muslibegovic house – walk through the old town and the famous Old Bridge, listed as UNESCO heritage site. Lunch. Paying visit to the unforgettable Kravice waterfalls. Trip to the small and dreamy city of Blagaj and late dinner next to the river. Return trip to Mostar. Overnight.

Day 10 Mostar

Leisure and shopping time in Mostar. Overnight.

Day 11 Mostar – Sarajevo

Breakfast. Continue drive to Sarajevo. Lunch at a local restaurant on the way at Jablanica. Arrival to Sarajevo, free time at the old town, check-in the hotel. Shopping. Dinner and overnight in Sarajevo.

Day 12 Sarajevo

Breakfast at hotel. Proceed for tour to visit VreloBosne – spring of river Bosnia, Tunnel museum – the only means of going in and out during the siege of Sarajevo during the 1992-95 war. Walking tour of old town Bascarsija; tour of the Latin bridge, place where the Austro Hungarian Archduke was assassinated, which triggered the 1st World War; Brusa bezistan – covered market place; Gazi Husref Bey Mosque- built in 1530 year during the Ottoman era and Gazi Husref Bey Madrass; Morica han built in 1551; Vijecnica – town hall for the Austro-Hungarian era. Lunch at a local restaurant. Free shopping time. Back to hotel.Dinner and overnight in Sarajevo.

Day 13 Sarajevo

Departure from Sarajevo International Airport.
